Having developed a reputation for being some of the best party islands in the world, The Balearic Islands attract many nightlife enthusiasts every year for one reason and one reason only - to have fun.
The Mediterranean climate has given rise to the islands’ iconic lifestyle - siestas, late lunches, and partying until the early hours, making the destination ideal for those seeking the ultimate late-night experience.
Coupled with its iconic neighbours, Ibiza and Formentera, Mallorca is known worldwide for its blissful beaches and spectacular natural scenery. But when the sun goes down, its streets, piers, and beach fronts are illuminated with the neon lights of DJ booths, resonate with the sounds of dance anthems, and burst with locals and tourists alike there to experience its go-hard party scene.
Whilst you may have heard of its party-lover paradises including the likes of Palma and Magaluf, the lesser-known Alcúdia also possesses a distinct party scene that boasts its own strip, an assortment of traditional Mediterranean bars, and energetic nightclubs.
If you seek not only sun, sea, and sand during your next visit to the idyllic island of Mallorca and want to embrace the island’s party culture after the sun sets, then you’re in luck if you plan on staying in Alcúdia during your next holiday here.
To make it easy for you, here at Vida Villas we’ve selected our favourite recommendation of clubs and bars in Alcúdia so you can get a taste of the Mallorca nightlife scene in one of the island’s best-kept nightlife secrets, and you won’t be disappointed.
For those who can’t help but be tempted to dance the night away in a nightclub surrounded by friends, with drinks flowing and nothing but good vibes, Alcúdia has a lot to offer:
Vogue Disco and Lounge is located on one of Alcúdia’s largest streets, Via dei Corneli Àtic, so can’t be missed as you venture out in search of your evening entertainment. Many Alcúdia clubs are concentrated in this area, set just behind Platja d’Alcúdia and Port d’Alcúdia, meaning you’re in for a treat if you’re planning on scouting out the best of the nightlife in Alcúdia on your next trip.
Vogue’s fantastic upper terrace with plentiful space for guests in small and large parties, you can enjoy the blissful Mediterranean evening weather with a glass in hand as you toast to your exciting night ahead. With delicious cocktails on offer, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options, there’s something for everyone on a night out at this Alcúdia nightclub.
Within easy reach of Alcúdia’s other fantastic nightlife options as well as Alcúdia’s main strip and coastline, this is a convenient and equally enjoyable option for you to experience the best of nightlife in Alcúdia.
Vogue Disco and Lounge is open from 8 pm until 2 am Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays, from 8 pm until 5 am on Saturdays, but is closed on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Nextdoor to Vogue Disco and Lounge is the Banana Nightclub. Opened in 2006, it is arguably one of Alcúdia’s most well-known and popular nights out and is frequently noted as the number-one nightclub in Alcúdia. Banana offers an unrivalled nightlife experience that you’re not likely to forget.
Loved by both locals and tourists, Banana Club is known for its non-stop partying, particularly in summer, with an insane lighting system, and an excellent DJ dropping everything from electronic hits to Latin rhythms. Banana Club sets a precedent for the vibe you should expect during your stay in Mallorca and in Alcúdia.
If you plan to visit Alcúdia in the summer, Banana nightclub throws upwards of 50 themed parties throughout the season. This means that there are two every week, but outside of summer, its themed parties are also every Saturday, so if you don’t choose to visit during peak times, you can still experience the unparalleled atmosphere of Banana.
With its beautiful rooftop terrace to soak in the Mediterranean heat, you can grab a cocktail at its outdoor cocktail bar when you’re not working up a sweat on the dancefloor. Banana Nightclub is perhaps one of the best Alcúdia clubs on offer and one that you shouldn’t miss during your next nightlife experience.
Banana Club is closed from Sundays to Thursdays but is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:55 pm until 5:30 am and 6 am respectively.
The final club you should visit if you’re wanting to get a taste of the nightlife in Alcúdia is Unik Disco, another popular nightclub option for visitors to the island, but also locals.
Located behind Platja d’Alcúdia along Carretera d’Artà, one of Alcúdia’s longest streets most populated with bars, clubs, and restaurants, you could spend a whole night along this Alcúdia strip and not get bored!
Unik offers your typical clubbing experience in the heart of Alcúdia. With multiple levels and offering a sleek, modern style, there’s plenty of space for visitors to spread out and experience Unik’s vibe.
Playing dance anthems and Mediterranean hits, you can either get involved on the dance floor or spend the night chatting away with a few of the locals or other tourists at the bar, where Unik’s bartenders serve cocktails alongside other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Also not far from Vogue Disco and Banana Nightclub, you can combine a visit to all three of these Alcúdia clubs, either in one night, thanks to their convenient location, or spread across your trip.
