Description

Villa  Can Coster Puig is in a stunning location on the gentle lower slopes of the Puig de Maria mountain, accessible up a country track next to the famous monument, just off the Pollensa road. It has spectacular views over the old town of Pollenca to the wooded hills beyond, and is only a short walk from the town itself. It’s a traditionally built Mallorcan cottage made from local stone, with modern styling inside-white walls, terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings, and halogen spot lighting. The airy sound-proof lounge, dining room and kitchen are all open plan. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, dark wood furniture and a traditional Mallorcan stove. Double patio doors lead out onto the terrace. The kitchen area has appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. There’s also a pantry with lots of storage space. The two bedrooms are both beautifully furnished with antique furniture, and have views over the gardens. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower. A vine-covered terrace runs along the lounge side of the house, with a table and benches. There are wonderful views from here of the old town of Pollenca, the famous 365 Calvari steps and the mountains beyond. Looking the other way, there are lovely views of the Puig de Tomir mountain. There’s another terrace in front of the house with a built-in barbecue and its own seating area.

The gardens at Can Coster Puig are very well cared for with lawns and mature shrubs and trees. The pool itself is surrounded on three sides by lawn, and a stone sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers runs along the other side. This is a lovely villa in a wonderful location and yet is just a short walk from Pollensa and its cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Lovely beaches are also a short drive away.
