The villa is ideal for families with children, for friends who wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday in privacy close to the centre of Mallorca. This two storey house which sleeps 6, is ideal for families and is decorated in the traditional Mallorcan style with modern touches and high quality furniture.
On the ground floor you will find the living/dining room with comfortable leather sofas and a dining area for 6 people. From here you can continue through into the kitchen which is of modern design and is fully equipped. Wood burning stove, large flat screen TV with satellite, fridge freezer and fantastic views out over the pool area. This area is air conditioned on a timer.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One double bedroom has hot/cold air conditioning on a timer, with excellent views to the pool area and to the side is a bright, good sized bathroom complete with bath. On the other side of the passage is another double bedroom and a twin bedroom which share a full bathroom. There is timed air conditioning in the hallway between the two bedrooms.
Outside is a swimming pool which features Roman steps offering easier access into the water. The pool is surrounded by well maintained gardens with an abundance of trees and plants. There are six sunbeds around the pool on which to relax and soak up the sun. Also, leading out from the living/dining room and kitchen there is a covered terrace with dining table, chairs and a modern, mobile gas barbecue.
The town of Inca is 30km away and the beaches of Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa only a little further.

Absolutely gorgeous place, beautiful garden and pool and lovely shady terrace. Very clean and very comfortable. The location was good for us as we could drive and see different places all around the island. As others have said a few basic household consumable items would be useful, but you can pick things up easily. There are country sounds in line with the house's rural location eg the rather forlorn braying of the donkey and the lively cockerels, but this was as expected and altogether it is a very peaceful retreat. Antonia and her husband were very welcoming and lovely, there was a beautiful cake for us on arrival and they were very helpful. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
Excellent base and lovely villa for our family. Kids loved the pool, and the gardens are beautiful, giving a great sense of isolation and adding to the spectacular scenery of the mountains in the background.Check-in and out was very efficient and trouble free, allowing for the holiday to begin without delay.On arrival, there was a welcome note from the owners in the kitchen, along with a fresh home baked cake and bottle of red… nice touch.Only negative will relate to light sleepers only, - The neighbouring finca has cockerels and a donkey, which on occasion like a 5:30/6 am kick-off… to be honest, for me it added to the authenticity of the area!Perfect location for those looking to explore all corners of the island, and excellent villa for days chilling in the sun. We couldn’t recommend more, can see us visiting again!
We were in the accommodation with a group of 5 people. We were immediately in love, the place is fantastically beautiful. The train stop is within walking distance and a direct connection to Palma can be reached in 30 minutes. It was a completely successful vacation, we will come back in any case.

We have had an incredible week in this villa! It is overlooked by no one and therefore feels really private. We loved the more rural setting (though the previous reviews are correct there are lots of noisy cockerels, donkeys and dogs but it didn’t bother us at all). The villa is close to Aldi and Lidl which made shopping easy. The villa itself is just as pictured and was very clean! The outside space and pool is gorgeous. Check in was contactless and easy. The villa is lacking in a few essentials like toilet paper, cleaning supplies and cooking items. We also could not figure out where to dispose of our rubbish. Half way through the stay someone came to change our towels and took some rubbish away but we did need to leave tied rubbish bags when we checked out of the villa because of this. Overall incredible stay!
Very nice house with perfectly maintained garden and pool. The location is quite rural, so expect the sounds of dogs, chickens and donkeys. The mattresses could be harder and are sagging a bit in the middle.
Very convenient villa and good access to different sites. Beautiful garden and pool and very well maintained. The house is spacious. It lacks the back of the house (oil, vinegar, salt, laundry, …). The villa is located in a very nice but quite noisy rural area (dogs, roosters, donkeys, motoculators).

Beautiful villa in a very picturesque location. Perfect for families and friends who are looking for a quiet villa, with great views. We didn't want to leave!
We were 3 adults and 3 smaller children. The home is super convenient for grocery shopping, the bus and close to the airport. It was super easy to take the bus to other cities/beaches. We wanted to cook but lacked instructions for the oven, the text on the oven was worn off. Instructions for the washing machine were also missing. We had a lovely holiday and would like to recommend the house to others - please note that the house is in a small industrial area, but you don't experience that when you are inside the plot itself.
Excellent luxury home with all amenities, excellent equipped kitchen, bathrooms and BBQ and quiet surroundings but close to restaurants and supermarkets.
Excellent value for money. Small winding path to get there, a little off-center from Pollença, but the city remains easily accessible. We had to ask for basic things (dish soap, garbage bags, dish towels) but they responded quickly when I wrote to them. Have a nice stay!
It is a very nice house, the pool area is very nice and you can be comfortable there. What we didn't like was the location that is in a medium “industrial” area. On the other side is the supermarkets very close and also Puerto Pollença and Pollença.
Myself and a bunch of friends have just had an incredible stay at this villa. The setting is absolutely stunning, the Villa itself is utterly beautiful and the location is perfect, right in the middle of Pollenca town and the port.We had the most amazing week and simply did not want to leave. We loved it.

I stayed at Colin's lovely home in Ses Illetas for 4 nights with my sister, niece, mum and Auntie for a family birthday get-away. Firstly, the house is beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. The villa is huge - we kept finding rooms! - and the bedrooms are so spacious. It's such a treat to have an en suite bathroom for every bedroom. The villa is also incredibly well-equipped - there's not a kitchen gadget that it doesn't have..! Secondly, the outdoor area is stunning. The pool is a very good size with beautiful views - we loved watching the cruise ships coming into Palma each day. It was so relaxing to watch the sun go down over the garden and access our semi-private beach for a cooling dip in the Med. Thirdly, the location is perfect. Everything you could want is within walking distance and there are some fabulous restaurants nearby. There is a bus service into Palma right outside the villa and it's so easy to get around. Lastly, communication with Colin was quick and thorough, and being met at the villa by Francoise when we arrived and again when we left was a pleasure. We were so sad to leave and are already trying to find a way to get back over. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Mallorca. This place is just amazing! We really felt at home with our 2 little ones. The location is perfect, quiet but very close to a lot of nice places. The swimmingpool is great and the house has everything you need. The owner came the day after we arrived to ask if everything was alright. We said that everything was great, however it seemed that the mattresses were a bit old. They ordered new ones straight away and the next day there were brand new mattresses on each bed. Very very kind and such a good hospitality. We will come back for sure!
We loved our stay at Can Barretes. This is the 3rd villa we’ve stayed at in north Mallorca and we all agreed it’s been our favourite. The villa is just perfectly set up - lovely pool, outdoor seating positioned facing it but with welcome shade, all facilities you need inside. And all within easy drive of Pollenca / Alcúdia.Thanks for a great stay!
Nice villa with good space for a family of 4 with a great pool for kids with a decent size shallow area. Air conditioning to 2 of the 3 bedrooms worked well. Villa is close to Pollenca Old Town (5min drive) and Puerta Pollenca (10min drive). Towels provided and changed a couple of times during our stay which was useful. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Our family vacation with 3 generations was perfect.We mostly cooked in the outdoor kitchen. BBQ charcoal was present.Coffee machines in all variants are present :-)Towels are sufficient and have been replaced in half time.Essential amenities spices, toipappe, dish tabs, hand soap, sink must be purchased.Owners are very friendly and helpful. The garbage is disposed of daily.Thank you for the great time
Beautiful property, was a lovely chilled family holiday! Definitely worth the money and loved having our own pool to relax around! loved the flowers around the villa and watching all the chickens in the morning walk around the property with their little babies. There was lots of mosquitoes, but I think that was due to being out in the country! I would just recommend taking lots of Mozzy sprays and plug ins! Also the electric kept tripping so try not to have too many things plugged in at once! And hire a small car if possible as driveway was very very narrow and had a sharp corner, luckily my husband is a pretty good driver as I might have struggled as we had a jeep as there was 5 of us.
The villa is in a fantastic location and the pool was a good size and cleaned regularly by the friendly owner. Would definitely recommend this villa and it’s easy to get to lots of places from it. John D
Lovely spacious villa with pool in a beautiful place. Perfect for our family celebration. Pool was a lovely size and very clean. Lots of outside space with choice of seating areas giving shade or sun. Lots of bathrooms, very spacious. Table tennis was added bonus. Excellent restaurant just round the corner. When all 10 of us showered at the end of the day, the hot water did run out.
Very nice large house with great pool and well-kept garden. Perfect for big families or friends to sit together and grill comfortably.Don't forget mosquito spray;)For shopping and exploring the island I recommend a rental car.Smooth process with the owners, key handover, etc.Would book there again anytime.
Really loved the villa, the hosts were incredibly helpful and answered any questions we had immediately. Checking in was easy and the pool and villa was brilliant, nothing to fault it! Would definately stay again!
This is a beautiful town house, 5 mins walk to the centre of town, and the hill is not as bad as it looks! We loved how quiet it was. The view from the terrace over the town is spectacular and I’d you squint a bit you can see the sea! The house is very well equipped and has everything you need to cook at home. There is even a fridge and bbq on the terrace so you don’t have to go down to get drinks. Plenty of outdoor seating and sun beds. Agent was super, arranged extra towels for my visitors, who came for the weekend during my stay. The high price is definitely worth the location and amenities.
The villa was even more beautiful in real life than it was in the photographs. Our host provided a range of items (food and drink) for us that really helped when we first arrived. The villa is finished and furnished to a very high standard. We loved our stay and would love to return.
